Week 17 & 18
My Apologies for not posting earlier than now. starting from the first of august there has been a nonstop inflow of customers to the hotel, having being in this situation, this week was kind of hectic. Although, everything else went well and very fast this week. I had a very funny experience on wednesday , that morning started with a little higher pressure than on normal days, during the preparation before service i literally wanted to shit on myself because for the first time the number of customers expected for lunch that day were close to 400 and i was alone on dessert section with only two hours for prep, i managed to keep show going and everything ready then service started, i went to the planche where i was attending to clients for 1 hour 30 minutes straight without noticing, it was surprising when i got to the kitchen to get water just to check the wall clock and find out that i've been standing there for that long, i mean it felt like 30 minutes.
Week 18 was a Hot week, i mean both in the kitchen and outside.Other than that, this week in the kitchen was hell because the whole week seemed like the repetition of last wednesday scenario and i wasn't feeling so well either. Moreover, this week i noticed that due to the busyness in the kitchen this week i was left completely with the responsibility of taking care of the desserts
